Grocery benefits: Bigger rewards on your everyday basket
Grocery rewards apply at participating Checkers group stores only: Checkers, Checkers Hyper, UNIQ, Checkers Outdoor, LittleMe and Petshop Science
Important to know
- You can earn up to 30% cashback in Greenbacks depending on your Greenbacks level.
- You must use your Greenbacks-linked American Express® card.
- If you use your Visa and Mastercard, you will earn Greenbacks at the regular rate.
- Level 1 and 2 members will earn on regular spend only, and not the enhanced grocery earn.
- If you are on Level 3–5, you will earn Greenbacks at the enhanced earn and have a spend cap of R2 000 per month.
- You can qualify for the bonus earn rate which has a spend cap of R5 000, provided that you consistently fulfil the behaviours as described under the heading, Bonus: Maximum rewards on groceries.
- Once you have reached the spend cap for grocery enhanced earn, you will continue to earn at the regular earn rate which can be up to 2% cashback for swiping a Greenbacks-linked American Express card.

What you need to qualify
You must:

Spend at least R60 000 over rolling 3 months using your Greenbacks-linked American Express® Credit Card

Use a Greenbacks‑linked Amex Credit Card.

Be on level 5 for rolling 3 months.

Hold a Private Wealth Bundle or Pay-as-you-use account for rolling 3 months or longer.
