IMPORTANT NOTICE

That link could be a trap

Fraudsters are promoting low-cost TV streaming apps and sending links to download them. Once installed, a fake Nedbank pop-up alert claims your account is at risk of being hacked and prompts you to view your account. Clicking the pop-up takes you to a fake Nedbank page designed to steal your app PIN or Nedbank ID username and password.

Important tips to keep you safe:

  • Download apps only from official app stores, like Google Play or Apple App Store.
  • Use only the official Nedbank Private Wealth app or Online Banking site to access your account.
  • Type website addresses directly into your browser instead of clicking links.
  • Enter your banking credentials on official Nedbank channels only, not on pages accessed through links or pop-ups.
  • Report suspected fraud immediately on 0800 110 929.
